Passport

My outpatient surgery for my port was a success yesterday!  I went in early in the morning, first procedure of the day.  It was over before I even remember it beginning. My Dad asked the nurse to start giving me the medicine ("the one that makes you not care where you are") as quickly as possible.  I remember NOTHING!  I guess before surgery I was quite the comic, again don't remember any of the stories my parents told me and then after as I was waking up, I made my parents kiss me a dozen times and said some more very funny things.  The family was laughing a lot with and at me last night.

I feel a lot of discomfort on my right side (neck, arm, chest, back) but other than my right side not being fully functional, I am doing well.  Haven't seen the port for myself yet, is is bandaged and covered for the next three days and then the stitches will come out later on in the week.  We will use my port for the first time at my Herceptin infusion next Thursday.

Don't remember this picture being taken, but kept asking my Dad to take one and wouldn't leave him alone until he did.  I guess I thought I was looking better than I was...
