Fun, Fun and More Fun

I've had the luxury of traveling every weekend for the last month and have enjoyed every minute of it....Highlights are....

Three weeks ago I had my first NASCAR race experience, in Arizona, which was a blast.  We had "Pit Passes" that  were "hot" which meant we could go anywhere on or off the race track and at any time. Saturday before the big race, I got to stand up close and personal watching the crew work on the cars, was right next to a pit crew to watch them pit in under 13 seconds (pretty incredible) and then on race day got to sit all day, sipping wine at the Turn Four hospitality suite.

The weekend before last, I spent it with two of my closest friends, Emma and Ken, in Palm Springs. Relaxing with our dogs and enjoying a fun night out in town.

Thanksgiving weekend I had the pleasure of being with Ashley and Dean on the holiday and spent the rest of the weekend running around Danville, having, like always there, a fabulous time.  I've been working on my road bike cycling skills and had my first fall on last Friday, my leg is all banged up and bruised but it was bound to happen.  Made the rookie mistake of trying to put my sunglasses on while having no speed going up a hill, clipped. Dumb!

Looking forward to relaxing this weekend at home, refueling before a trip to Danville next weekend for Ashley and Dean's 5th annual charity event, "Coats and Cocktails" and to watch Tim and his race team in a 25 hour road race.

Mom, Dad and Kyle... I won't be leaving you again on a holiday.  Promise!  First and only time.
