Cycle for Survival

This is the year for me to work out regularly and while doing so raise lots of money for cancer research... I'm riding in Cycle for Survival on February 2nd in San Francisco. A national, indoor team cycling event that has raised more than $17.5 million in support of life-changing research on rare cancers at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. The diseases include brain, ovarian, and pancreatic cancers, leukemia, lymphoma, sarcoma, all pediatric cancers, and countless others that all desperately need our attention.

I often think about those that have cancers that are not common, treatments that have not been well evaluated and have a difficult time finding the right care.  So... this cycling event is near and dear to me.
Every dollar I raise goes directly to fund research on rare cancers. No donation is too small..  everything counts!   The link below will bring you to my fundraising page, where you can make a tax-deductible online donation. http://mskcc.convio.net/site/TR?pg=personal&fr_id=1810&px=2392850
