Overnight Oatmeal

Make 5 days of breakfast in 5 minutes, with this healthy and easy recipe.  Great grab and go breakfast.

You'll need pint mason jars (or any containers that will allow enough room for ingredients

Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup uncooked oats
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened milk of choice
  • 1/4 cup of non-fat greek yogurt (or sub with 1/4 sliced banana)
  • 1/2 tbsp chia seeds (optional)
  • 1/4 cup blueberries
  • 1/4 cup diced mango or peaches
  • pinch cinnamon

First: Add milk, oats, yogurt and chia seeds.  Cover and shake until mixed.
Second: Add all other ingredients and mix with a fork.
Third: Cover and refrigerate overnight.  Eat cold and enjoy in the morning.

You can make unlimited variations:
1. 2 table spoons of unsweetened applesauce, diced apples, and cinnamon
2.  Kiwi and blackberries (or any berry).
3. 1 table spoon of your favorite jam with berry of choice and a dash of vanilla or almond extract (my fav).
4.  If you like sweetener, add to your liking.
5.  You can top off with nuts or granola.
6.  Frozen berries work great, if you don't have easy access to fresh.
7. Peanut butter and jelly (1 tsp of each) with 1/4 cup banana.
